Our educational work

The educational centre Kurt Löwenstein organises as a house of extracurricular education week seminars with secondary and comprehensive school pupils from Berlin and Brandenburg, weekend seminars with youth organisations and educational holidays with trainees. As the federal educational centre of the Socialist Youth Germany – Die Falken we organise pedagogic-political trainings, youth seminars, international meetings and various big events. As a place of international meetings we support the mutual “get to know” and understanding the organisation of structures of collaborations and sharpen the sight for common interests and perspectives.

To passionate discussion, to engage in something new, to forget prejudices, to destruct racism, to search for similarities, to share leisure time, to party, … all this is possible in the educational centre! With biographical methods we try to make the experiences of the participants the starting point of the content regarding discussion. The aim is to widen the acting competence of the participants in social and political environments.

The main topics of the last years have been for example the constructive conflict solution, anti-racism-trainings, democracy and participation, life and job orientation, job application trainings, gender specific role models, addictions and Europe.
